Synopsis
Brooklyn

Breaking off my marriage of convenience to start a smoldering affair turns my world upside down. Trevor was supposed to be worth it. He nearly made me spontaneously combust in bed while showing me a love I never thought possible outside of it.

Except it was all a lie. Happily ever after with a man who betrayed me? Not a chance.

Trevor

I planned to destroy Brooklyn because someone had to pay for the sins of her father. Instead, her touch healed everything that was broken inside me, and I fell hopelessly in love with my enemy’s daughter.

Brooklyn thinks she can end us, but I’m not spending another day without her by my side. Give up on love? Never, even if it kills me.

Book Review
Wow. For some reason, I was not expecting to like this story. But I did. Enjoyed it in fact that I've recommended it to a few others. What did I like? The setup/ the plot has been done before. An old rivalry between parents that has spilled over into the next generation. A child, Trevor, seeking revenge on the person, Arch, who wronged his family. I liked the character setup and development, as well as the quick pace in which the story moved along. I liked the amount of angst that was always ever presenting providing an ever-present undercurrent of tension between the characters. Trevor using Arch's child, Brooklyn to exact his revenge was well-written. Them falling in love was even better. What I did not necessarily care for was some of the "cheesy" dialogue. It didn't necessarily fit in each scenario and the misspelling of the word cum.

I look forward to Griff and Maddie's story. It will be a good one. Great job on a solid start of a new series. This book was not categorized as erotica, but it definitely fits the bill for me on some level.

I received a copy of this book in an exchange for an honest review.
